No Passport Required

Now that winter weather is again sending temperatures plummeting across Midwest and northeast, travel to Puerto Rico looks even better – and your don't need a passport.

According to the Puerto Rico Tourism Company, nearly 80 percent of Americans do not have passports – limiting travel to warm destinations in the Caribbean and Mexico.
Puerto Rico is a Caribbean destination where no passport is required
when traveling to and from the U.S. mainland. Since Puerto Rico is a U.S.
Commonwealth, it is excluded from the new passport restrictions which began on
January 23, 2007.
